Hoover Housing Solutions LLC is a licensed general contractor based in Portsmouth, Ohio. We handle roofing, siding, kitchens, bathrooms, home additions, decks, hardscaping, and full-home renovations for homeowners across Scioto County. We also provide lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal. Our crew of 12 has been operating since July 2023.
Who Runs It
Brad Hoover owns and runs HHS. The company started with a simple idea: a homeowner should be able to call one contractor for the house and the yard and get the same crew, the same standard, and a straight price both times. That is still how we operate.
What We Do
Two divisions, one company.
Contracting. Roofing, siding, windows and doors, kitchens, bathrooms, basement finishing, flooring, decks and patios, fencing, home additions, whole-home renovations, drywall and painting, gutters, and demolition. We run about 1,500 squares of roofing and 200 squares of siding a year. See the contracting page.
Lawn care. Weekly mowing, landscaping, mulch, hardscaping, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, leaf cleanup, and snow removal. See the lawn care page.
We also handle EEOICPA home modifications for former nuclear and uranium workers, which takes us into Pike, Ross, and Jackson counties as well.
How We Work
You get a written estimate with the scope and the price spelled out before anything starts. No fee for the estimate and no obligation to book. The same crew stays on your job, so nobody has to relearn the property. If weather kills a day, you hear from us instead of wondering.
We fix causes, not symptoms. If water is running at your foundation, we grade before we plant. If a window seal failed, we tell you the window is done instead of selling you a cleaning. That is slower to sell and cheaper to own.
